This week, Axial3D joins AWS at the annual Radiological Society of North America Conference 2019 (RSNA19) to showcase our cutting-edge approach to medical 3D printing, using the power of AWS, to over 50K+ attendees.
On Wednesday, December 4th at 10:15 AM, join Daniel Crawford (Founder and CSO) and Roger Johnston (CEO) from Axial3D at the AWS Booth (#10942) to hear how AI is being used to transform how we create patient-specific, 3D printed anatomical models for pre-operative planning.
The AWS Booth (located on the AI Showcase level two, booth #10942) will feature demonstrations and presentations by AWS customers and partners such as Axial3D, who are building industry-shaping solutions from image optimization and diagnostic support to enhanced reporting and workflow.
Niall Haslam, CTO at axial3D, said,
“Working with AWS is yet another commitment from axial3D to our customers in our mission to drive standardization and quality adherence. This allows business users to gain insights that are often hidden within data, so they can reach evidence-based decisions with confidence. With AWS powering axial3D, we can deliver a secure, powerful and fast service allowing our customers to do what they do best, treat patients.”
By platforming on AWS, axial3D is helping to transform surgery by providing previously unavailable insights to clinicians for preoperative planning across the world. axial3D achieves this by creating highly accurate 3D printed models of specific parts of the patient’s own anatomy, that allow clinicians to better prepare for surgery. This results in better clinical outcomes for patients, reduced time and costs for the surgery and patients who are much better informed about their condition and the proposed surgery.
AWS has enabled axial3D to transform the process of creating and delivering a 3D printed model within 24-48 hours, a task that previously would have taken 6 to 8 weeks. New customers can be added seamlessly, with little, if any, involvement required from their IT infrastructure team, so even first-time customers are able to get straight to ordering anatomical models without previously typical set up related delays.
